Westring Construction LLC has been in business for over 20 years without slowing down during the recession in 2008/2009 or faltering during the pandemic. We primarily focus on Residential Remodeling Construction. We set ourselves aside from others by creating relationships with our customers with a large part of our clientele being repeat customers or referrals. We specialize in Design Build Remodeling projects, helping clients turn their houses into dream homes.
As a Remodeling Construction Designer/Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the design and planning process, working closely with our clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.

Salary: $51,638.00 - $57,033.00 per year

As a Remodeling Construction Designer/Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the design and planning process, working closely with our clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with clients to develop design concepts and remodeling plans, ensuring they align with their vision and requirements
- Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using industry-standard software
- Collaborate with team members to successfully complete projects.
- Source and select materials, finishes, and fixtures that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements
- Prepare comprehensive project proposals, including cost estimates, timelines, and specifications
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution
- Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and provide design recommendations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices, bringing fresh ideas to each project along with maintaining a Vendor Master book
- Create the scope of work per project along with a build contract
- Proven experience as a Construction Designer, preferably in the remodeling or renovation industry
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite or other software preferred by candidate)
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and building codes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and project stakeholders
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- A degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred
