Lead Carpenter – Home Works Remodeling has a job opening for a lead carpenter with minimum of 6 years of experience
We are an expanding company with a great opportunity for a lead carpenter with a minimum of 6 years experience. We have been in business for over 20 years, and we are growing. We are looking for someone who has solid carpentry skills from demo to finish work, experience in all aspects of residential remodeling, the ability to manage others effectively on the work site, good rapport with customers as well as subcontractors and colleagues, and the ability to produce high quality work. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Work will be done on a number of job sites in the Madison WI area.
Job duties include:
· Carpentry work including framing and finishing at a highly skilled level for a variety of interior and exterior residential remodeling projects
· Operation of a variety of hand and power tools necessary to complete carpentry work
· Up to date knowledge and execution of building codes
· Ability to interpret architectural blueprints and notes as well as design specs
· Capacity to drive company truck and trailer from office to work sites and to pick up/drop off building materials
· Supervision of other carpentry crew on work sites and communication between multiple parties involved with remodeling projects
· Personable and courteous interaction with customers, other crew members, subcontractors, and others associated with projects
· Ability to complete projects on time
· Maintain a clean and safe work site
